Wonderful news for the true trance addict! As Armin van Buurens radioshow 'A State of Trance' (ASOT) celebrates its 500th broadcast, Alda Events launches a big party the 9th of April. The most popular danceminded radioshow worldwide exists for ten years now and has grown to over 15 million listeners in 26 countries weekly. Obviously this milestone needs a celebration and a small one would not do justice to the success. That is why the huge Brabanthallen in Dutch city Den Bosch will be put to use for the largest trance event worldwide! Armin: "I am very proud and happy with the 500th edition of the show. The way trance sounds today differs from ten years ago, but it has preserved the same feeling. Trance has evolved over the years. Nowadays trance is influenced by other styles like techno, minimal and techhouse. It is nice to have experienced this development and we will celebrate trance in the biggest way possible! Since we make ASOT the fans, we felt they should be able to give their input on the line-up. For a period of one month, our listeners were given the opportunity to suggest DJ's for the five events of ASOT. The result is a program with a wide range in variety of artists, not only specialized in pure trance but also progressive, tech-trance and uplifting trance. And off course the classic sound will not be left out! All live registrations of the five editions are to be viewed on special internet channels." Line-up People regularly listening to ASOT know Armin is ...

Fantastic early progressive House track from JOHN JOHNSON. This track is sometimes WRONGLY credited as 'Hong Kong',there was in fact a batch of 12'' CITY EP's pressed with the wrong labels on thus causing the confusion!!! I Found these iconic images of London on the net so a big thanks to everyone who took the photos.
Insight is delighted to welcome back DJ Ange. Since we released her debut single SEA/Iron Cove back in 2008, Ange has gone from strength to strength becoming a firm favourite with the likes of PVD, Tiesto, Armin and Ferry Corsten. Fusing her highly successful radio show "Isolation", her recent track "Seamless" on Ferry Corsten's Levare label and her ever ascending profile as a top trance dj in her own right, DJ Ange is becoming a real force on the global trance scene. Kicking off this 5 mix package is the Original mix, a hard hitting trance belter. Tough beats and an urgent bassline propel the tune into classic synth stabs and arps which develop into a peak time trancer with all the hallmarks of a future bigroom anthem. Next we welcome Binary Finary to Insight. From the guys that have written HUGE trance anthems they now deliver a trademark classic trance remix with all the driving and uplifting synth wizardry they're so well loved for. (Look out for a brand new Binary Finary track on Insight shortly!) Michael Splint and Jox are up next delivering a tough and gritty treatment which ticks all the boxes for the deeper darker floor. Next, we have a remix that is a well paced modern uplifting trancer from the up & coming talented US producer Noctiva which is complete with a beautiful piano breakdown reminiscent of "Children" (Again watch out for a Noctiva release soon on Insight!). Finishing off is the Dutch master Six Senses who delivers a sublime slice of true uplifting ...
