This video is a complete experiment and something that took me a short time to create; within a span of 3-4 days everything was complete. Blade Runner is an underrated classic not just in Science-Fiction but should be in any list about the Top 100 movies ever made! In this particular scene, Deckard is forced to kill/retire Zhora-the replicant and not only is the Cinematography excellent but the Art and Production design as well; this one scene completely takes you into another world. The original score by Vangelis is minimalistic and already great but I felt the score needed a bit more impact and so Trance music was the only genre I can think of to bring this to reality. Whatever song that is going to replace the original needed to sound futuristic and build up in intensity -and of course almost all Trance music is defined by this. Since we are talking about Trance, everyone liking it cannot help but remember one name that still stands the highest - Armin Van Buuren. So using Armin's haunting, intense and epic song 'Status Excessu D' aka A State Of Trance 500 Theme I have made this video. Fyi there were a lot of technical difficulties with this one while uploading, finally on Decemeber 1st after 4 earlier attempts the finished video was successfully uploaded. So do enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. My proposition of LineUp in Den Bosch :) 10 days of work: editing song, searching for footage and inspiration and fighting with dumb Adobe's camera :D hope u enjoy it :) Unfortunately I couldn't find a good footage of Alex MORPH, Ben Gold and Signum, so I replaced it with Dash Berlin and Sied van Riel. Forgive me :P
