www.djphalanx-trance.com Sound Apparel returns to Pulsar Recordings once again, this time bringing two outstanding productions that will make the listeners lose their minds and lose control. 1. 'Hope Island' (Release Date December 12, 2012) starts with a classical guitar riff accompanied by low-pitched orchestral instruments that slowly rise and take over. As the music progresses, the track turns into a heavy melody that instantaneously collapses and gives way to the drop of the kicks and synth, all playing with the guitar still ringing in the background. A piano joins the symphony halfway through, taking the lead in the breakdown, singing a melody above a rising and falling synth that has become the signature sound of this phenomenal producer. The piano piece comes to an end with the return of the orchestral instruments, this time playing a calmer progression, and the entire tune accumulates into a heavy, pumping, uplifting rise that is guaranteed to make the listeners lose all control to this track that can only be called an epic tune. 2. 'Soundtrack Vitae' (Release Date: December 12, 2012) is a more classical uplifting trance track that starts with a rising bass, leading to a drop and slowly bringing out a piano melody, which in turn loops into the breakdown, where it transitions into a fantastical tune, accompanied by string instruments. After many great gigs, amongst which the A State of Trance 500 event in Den Bosch, a completely different challenge awaited him: producing. Not an entirely new challenge, cause the 22 year old Dutchman has had several of his track released already. In the run up to the finals, he even came up with a special treat to his supporters, as they're automatically in the running of winning a day producing with him in his studio if they vote for him. But that doesn't mean there's nothing left to learn. For the producer challenge, Renvo wanted nothing more than to collaborate with W&W. And that dream came true. Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst have grown out from young talents to renowned artists, known for their very own sound, that lies between techno and trance. After tracks like 'Mustang', 'Arena', 'Mainstage', 'Impact' and remixes for Armin van Buuren, Sied van Riel, Little Boots and ALy & Fila, the boys are now ready to conquer the world with their debut album, set for release on Armada Music in September.
