Cass & Slide - Perception (Markus Schulz Bootleg - Andrew Gray Reconstruction)

DOWNLOAD 320kbps proper version with no errors (updated version compared to what you're hearing in the video): www22.zippyshare.com Here is my reconstruction of the original early-2009 Markus Schulz bootleg of Cass & Slide - Perception. It was first played at ASOT 400 in London by Markus but shortly after, Cass & Slide did not give Schulz permission to release it, so this tune never see the light of day (there was both a dub and vocal mix, both have been rarely played, in just a couple of live sets). Soon after, Markus ended up reworking the tune and releasing it as a cover, keeping some percussion elements and the Justine Suissa vocals from the original bootleg/remix. That version was released in 2010 and features vocal and dub mixes, and also a remix by Super8 & Tab. The cover didn't come anywhere close to retaining the hypnotic melody from the Cass & Slide original, so here is my reconstruction. Enjoy!

After many great gigs, amongst which the A State of Trance 500 event in Den Bosch, a completely different challenge awaited him: producing. Not an entirely new challenge, cause the 22 year old Dutchman has had several of his track released already. In the run up to the finals, he even came up with a special treat to his supporters, as they're automatically in the running of winning a day producing with him in his studio if they vote for him. But that doesn't mean there's nothing left to learn. For the producer challenge, Renvo wanted nothing more than to collaborate with W&W. And that dream came true. Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst have grown out from young talents to renowned artists, known for their very own sound, that lies between techno and trance.
